Official 2017 BBQ, Smoking, Grilling, Baking and Beer thread

Cheeseburger Omelette this morning -

Had a leftover hamburger patty....perfect way to finish it off
 
TRI-TIP !!!!!

So, I had 4.8lbs of tri-tip and it was begging to be smoked. I rubbed it with Mr. Stubbs Beef Rub, Cafe du Mond coffee grinds and some brown sugar -

Beer must be consumed while getting the smoker ready -

On to the grate to be flame seared on both sides for 4mins -

Plate-setter added for indirect heat (275F pit temp) -

1 hour later and DONE (145F internal temp) -

That sounds amazing! Turkey is something I've yet to cook in the smoker.

I have only done it once a couple of months ago and they told me it was the best turkey I ever cooked[emoji2] of course there was some adult beverages consumed ☝️
