I recently had some slippery sections of liner so decided to do a SLAM and brush aggressively before I had a bigger issue to deal with, Cya 40, FC level aiming for 16. Not sure why that happened because my FC levels have been > 7 the whole time, but I am wondering about my autocoder needing to be cleaned and working on that.

My issue is the OCLT, Due to me being the only person who can test the water, kids and work schedule for the next few weeks it will be impossible for me to test right before sun up.

Last night my FC was 16 topped up before bed. When I tested this morning it was 14. This has been consistent the last two night. CC 0-0.5 ( faint tinge disappears with 1 drop). I am able to test around the time sun has been hitting the pool area for around 3 hours as it was the last 2 days bright sun, but the autocover (opaque) was on the whole time. I try to leave it open as much as possible but unable to due to safety when I am at work.

How should I go about trying to interpret the OCLT in these circumstances? Would 3 hours with the cover on cause any tangible FC loss for the OCLT? Water continues to remain clear. (SWG off during this process).

A good test is good because it doesn’t need to be interpreted. So you’ll have to find a way to test before the sun comes up to get a definitive answer.

Unless I want to be unemployed there is really no way for me to do that for the next few weeks. So other than continuing to SLAM for 3-4 weeks does anyone have any suggestions of a way to approach this situation?
