O/B Pool Henderson Nevada..

Thanks for helping me in this.

The only thing I don’t like is that because the short amount of pvc the bend develops a kink.. I’ve tried several times with different pipe to not have that and it is just too short of a piece.

If you really want to eliminate/minimize the kink you can put a pipe bending spring inside the pipe before heat bending it. Just be careful not to get the spring stuck in the pipe (ask me how I know). Here's one for 1 1/2" pipe:

When I first started reading the under construction threads there was someone that used these and LOVED them! It was a while ago and of course I cannot find the thread

Me? I would use them on the steps and shelf! Hand cast and pressed into the plaster if possible so none get lost inside the plaster. Again it would come down to the skills of the installers.

Welp it’s coming along.. The angle of the jets wasn’t that bad. Now I am waiting on the cost to do this. It looks ugly but once we put some mortar and tile you won’t know. Now I have to wait for the grey fittings...

So the only thing left is to decide on the plaster/quartz/pebble finish and color.......

His name is Dozer and his brothers name is SIg. Both are about 1.5 years old. The GMS is about all I can handle, he’s possessed.... They are fur babies and have taken over the pool. They love to run around inside the pool. Both of those knuckle heads will be very perplexed when water goes in.....

Looks like it turned out good. What are you going to do for the decking/ coping?

I’ am doing Belgard Pavers for coping and decking. Everyone loves Travertine but I’m not a big fan for my yard. I did test in the Vegas summer heat and found that there is no material you can stand on barefoot. I think with big spaces where you have room Travertine looks good. With my space I won’t have enough green to offset having Travertine so I went with pavers from Belgard catalina pavers.

They will look something like this, I have a blend going in to accent the coping which is 6x12 grey pavers and the surrounding colors of the house walls ....

All- The problem is for me I have no idea of what finish to use. The wife said no to pebble, I had one company come out and give me a quote and he had Pebble & PebbleFina sample, I really like the Pebble Fina.. It was smooth with a grip (if that makes sense). Then I found these http://www.universalaggregatesolutio...ucts/aquaglow/ and want to add these to the stairs and shallow areas... I am having a hard time understanding with what surface I can add (Beads, Abalone, Glass) to. I'm was leaning towards the Diamond Brite but again, not totally understanding what each surface is and how it feels and what can be added to it is quite confusing..... To me I like to get all the info and then ask for bids...

The surface search is still on.....

Nope-it is out of date-look at the date at the bottom 2011 :(

Have you seen the pool math app? That is VERY current! I use the pool math at the top of this page when I am on my lap top and it is also up to date. It also has a size calculator.
