CL520 Filter (Cart)

1- 2HP Spa Blower "Silencer"
5 Globrite Pool lights

Re: O/B Henderson Nevada Pool (starting stage)

Be sure you want a Spa Blower. With 6 jets you will get alot of air into the spa. We have six jets and just use the natural aeration from the Harvard loop.

Re: O/B Henderson Nevada Pool (starting stage)

I was just stating that you should be sure you want a blower for the spa. You do not need one for bubbles. You will, of course get alot more bubbles with the blower. Depends on what you like.

Re: O/B Henderson Nevada Pool (starting stage)

The one you show is the one I have. Works great.

You do not list how you plan to chlorinate. The ET8 can be purchased with integrated SWCG power supply for the Intellichlor. If you go SWCG, be sure it is rated for at least 2X your pool volume.

Re: O/B Henderson Nevada Pool (starting stage)

I like how many lights you will have.....see the one by the shelf? right by the 3'6"..........I would move it closer to the wing wall....this way it will not be in your eyes if you want to swim laps at night. It will also light up the wall.

See the step coming off the decking right by the spa? I would make that step go all the way to the spa because that looks like a "dirt trap" area. I also worry about someone stepping out of the spa thinking there was a step there.

Returns.........how many and where?

Skimmer...........how many and where?

Re: O/B Henderson Nevada Pool (starting stage)

Ok, I have final plans from the designer and now it's all on the hands of the Structural Eng. Hopefully he can get back to me asap and then onto City of Henderson for permit. I have gotten a few bids back as far as excavating, this is going to be fun!!!!!!!

I still have to figure out if I want Quartz finish? Quartz was put on the plans but i'm sure I can change that if needed... Thoughts?? I was told by GOD (Wife) that she does not want anything pebbletech... How good is quartz and does it sparkle....;) ?

Re: O/B Henderson Nevada Pool (starting stage)

Just about anything can sparkle is you add the right stuff to it.................sparkle aka glass beads (white, light blue, etc) and abalone shells.

Here is a link to a pool that is all about the sparkle!

Vegas OB! Just got plans back and need some feedback (pics included :) ))

The pics are towards the end. He even has a pic of his beads to show the colors and how it all looks.

Re: O/B Henderson Nevada Pool (starting stage)

Ok, so, my current build does not have in-Floor cleaning. I have been reading about this and have found a 50/50 response in whether or not people like it. I have about a week before excavation starts and would like to know what the thoughts are here? Does it add allot of cost to the pool? Is it worth it here in the desert?

Re: O/B Henderson Nevada Pool (starting stage)

It depends................it takes a GOOD installer to get it right. The slope of the pool floor has to be just right. Do you get a lot of dust/dirt in your yard where the pool is going? That is what it is mainly good with. I don't think they are very good with leaves.

Price? not sure about that one...........you also have to think down the road as there are moving pieces which equals replacement costs. You need to ask your PB. Of course this will be a change order so........could cost more.

Welp, the permit was pulled to start construction! The permit process took less than and hour from arrival to finish. Gawd that was a sweet victory for the build after reading what some people went thru in Vegas for their permit. Excavation starts soon. I will be posting pics as the build goes.

Wish me luck...[emoji4]

What brand is best with the best warranty on the pop up nozzles that clean? Would you know off hand Kim?

Re: O/B Henderson Nevada Pool (starting stage)

People talk about paramount nozzles but I can’t speak to it personally. Even with infloor you will still have to brush because you have “dead” spots. My neighbor has infloor and still borrows my robot before he has company over ..... so personally I’m happy with my robot plus through a builder it can add 3.5-5k to the pool depending on how many heads you need. I will say this though , infloor is most effect with dirt and not other debris like leaves so they are the most effective in climate like ours
Also that big dude in the picture is as pretty as a butterfly lol
