Been cloudy and sub 75 all week. Have swg at 10% and FC keeps climbing 1-2ppm every few days. Is it normal
Not to have any burn off as fall begins?

Yup. You've likely had a little burnoff and simply made more than you lost. Be careful about turning it down after cloudy days or the sunny days will have you turning it right back up. You can drive yourself nuts mocromanaging so instead, look at it as 'enough FC', or 'not enough FC'. I step in and pull the plug at a teen, if I happen to notice. I've lost count how many times it was a deep teen. :ROFLMAO:

Sitting above 15.5 14 3 days ago. Gonna drop down from 10% to 5% for now. Try and get down to 10. 👍

The OTO / block FC test is great once you get a handle on the FC relatively stable. Check @JJ_Tex avatar. Taxicab yellow is 8 to 10, then the orange starts and bright orange like his pic is 10 to 13 where it starts getting fluorescent orange. After that it gets darker and more solid orange on its way to brown at 20.

So if you see taxicab yellow, or a lighter orange, you have 'enough FC' today. (Probably 2 days, even if you lost power, but that's a good thing).

My original OTO went orange at 8.5, the new one does it at 10 on the nose, it's not particularly accurate but you'll get a feel how yours responds after some tests and will be able to easily guess if you need to step in one way or the other.

Also, let's preemptively go over seasonal loss. The daily demand decreases the back half of the season, little by little. There's an occasional blip but for the most part you see some weeks with average loss of 3, then some weeks at 2.5, 2, 1.5 and eventually even 1 average daily loss. In the spring, it's the exact opposite, climbing week over week from 1 to 4. You'll then be asking why 20%(etc) wasn't enough and it's because you need to be 25 now.

Right now when you goof its a laugh and a whoopsies that you have 'more than enough'. In the spring, it's playing for keeps as if you don't catch the increase soon enough, you might be gifted a swamp.

The closer you dance with minimum, the closer you need to pay attention.

You rang? I get panicky if I do the OTO test and does not come back with an Orange color.

I'd be happy to let mine float at 8-15 but it I can't get a PH reading with anything over 10Cl...

Try 4 or even 3 drops. I usually have luck getting back on the scale that way. With 5 drops it's lavender. :ROFLMAO:

It's been said here many times that the number of drops isn't important so long as the colors are right.

I just let mine ride if I am getting close to closing anyway- less bleach to buy lol. I run around 10 most all the time so if I had to worry about frequent ph rise I would probably invest in a meter. Luckily I am in the stable ph club. It’s an off shoot subsidiary of #teamRunHot 😭
