No Tagelus Ta50 sand filter-- Supply chain problem?

Looking to replace my Tagelus TA 50 sand filter with same. All sites appear out of stock for the entire unit or just the pressure vesssel. Can any one tell me if this is a supply chain issue or if it has been discontinued?

The 50 is still on Pentair's website, so it must be a supply issue.

Thank you, There are a few companies that appear to sell the 50D, but not the TA- 50. My usual go to's do not have it. Thank you again

The difference between the TA-50 and the TA-50D is the way the valve attaches to the tank. It is threaded into the tank on the 50 and uses a clamp on the 50D. The 50D is easier to service if the tank "O" ring needs replacing and easier to install as you have to make sure the threaded valve is properly tightened before installing the rest of the plumbing which may involve trying to turn a filter with hundreds of pounds of sand and water to align with the pipes.
