No status lights on IC40

Ok, figured out why no readings from swg on screenlogic....pool co didn’t wire it to the Easy Touch. Got it wired and no status lights or % lights on the IC40 and I even hooked up my spare one and it did exactly the same. Also, pump must be at least 1450 rpm to turn off low flow light, but I think that may be normal standard deviations on these things.

Your system must be in POOL mode for the SWCG to receive power. Check that.

It’s getting power because lights start when pump does. Wondering if it does that since ET is doing diagnostics?

So in Pool mode, no lights on the IC at all?

No the top light flashes normal for the first couple minutes and the flow light is green during start up, then they both stay green but no status light (where the cold water, good, and inspect cell lights are).
Would high salt cause this? Pool co put in too much salt and it’s at 3800.

No, high salt would be a flashing green light if I remember right. And 3800 is not high.

So if no status lights, go into Easytouch/Screenlogic and be sure you have the % setting for the SWCG above 0. And the SWCG enabled.

I agree with Marty... It sounds to me like you have your output % set to zero...

Yep, that was it. I’ve been using bleach and just got swg back in and didn’t realize it was at zero!
I need to play with the screenlogic awhile to get familiar....thanks guys!
