New pool owner here. I have a spa that spills over two sides into the pool. When I am running my pool pump the spillover flows over perfectly and looks great. When I run the spa pump unfortunately I don’t get any spillover, even when I enable the spillway feature. Am I doing something wrong or is it just not possible to have spillover when I have the spa pump running?

That is normal, when you run the pool pump it sucks water from the pool and returns it to the spa causing the spillover. The spa pump sucks from the spa and returns to the spa keeping the water level the same
