Just replaced sand filter and pump on 15'ft above ground pool. 1hp pump with 19' filter w/175lbs pool sand. Backwash, rinse, recirculate and waste function normally, but no pressure when on filter and closed system does not seem to do anything. I have checked everything, disassembled, and reinstalled completely, even changed the sand, and no difference?? Any ideas?
No pressure while on filter, all other settings seem to be working

Double check to ensure you installed the in & out hoses on the correct port of the multiport valve. You would't be the first to get them mixed up.

As much as I hate to admit it, you were spot on!! Two days of struggle saved in less than 15 mins... I appreciate you being willing to mention the most elementary aspect to a fairly new DIYer!!
