Replaced the pressure switch and was finally able to get the heater to fire up and run.. It didn't work right off the bat.. I had adjust the screw underneath the switch to get it to go - I would say maybe a full turn and a half... I was about to throw in the towel.. Then after a couple on and off's of the filter the heater started.. After I had the heater running for about 15 (maybe more) minutes I tried turning the filter and heater off from the remote in the house, but Freeze protection kept it running (Freeze protection was set to 32 or 34 - I forget what is the lowest level)...
I stopped and started the filter a couple of times with the freeze protection still on, removed the "solar thermostate" from the control panel, let it run a bit more and was able to get the freeze protection to stay off... I did notice the heater go to LO then refire back up when I was changing my Jandy valve positions... Is that normal?
Now I have to figure out why my hot tub (that sits a bit above my pool) is draining... I'm assuming the return Jandy Actuator is mis aligned... any thoughts on that?? LOL
thanx for the help / advice..
