Next Summer Upgrades!

I think I'm going to add a sprinkler to my pool to aerate and cool the pool down.
I’d be happy to send you mine, assuming I can find them. I have 2 kinds - the kind that you see most often, a pipe with holes in it sticking up about 3’ and a lower profile kind that is acrylic and sticks up just above the surface of the water. It has a slit cut in it like a sprinkler head so that the water sprays out into the pool. They both worked about the same in the DFW climate, which was about a 3°-5° drop in water temp. I finally bit the bullet and bought a chiller.

I'd appreciate that! The acrylic one sounds really interesting. I'd like something low profile like that.

Mostly have been focused on replacing the front yard plants that did not survive the pool build. But have been thinking of what setup we will need to host pool movie nights. I think it's okay with popcorn in the pool and water bottles, but no candy. Have had friends/neighbors host backyard movies so I need to find out what is needed.

Where did you find these? Thats a smart design.
I found them online, but it’s been several years. Funny thing is that the business had an address in my hometown - less than 10 miles away. Google maps showed them in a grocery store complex with other retail - right where I got my hair cut. When I tried to find them, their suite number didn’t exist, but I ordered online anyway.

You’re right about the design. They look MUCH better than the 3’ high PVC pipes sticking up. Functionally, they performed about the same.
