Newby - with a stupid question

indeed!! I just read another post about stubborn algae. It was recommended to remove the ladder. I just ran out there, pulled out our ladder, and while I really couldn't see, I think the water that ran out was pretty nasty!!!

Be sure to clean lights, etc as well. Basically any nook, cranny, or crevices in the water where it could be hiding.

Today's results, kinda cloudy today so the FC wasn't blasted so much....

FC 23
CC 0.5-ish
TA 100
CH 300
CYA 60

Here's a pic of the pool - water is crystal clear, seriously I cant remember when it was clearer. The organic material is still present although you cant see. I was going to vacuum but a storm is coming. I did brush the pool and brushed thoroughly behind the light niche and in the skimmer area.

Going to add more bleach per PoolMath to get back up to 28ppm. CYA is dropping some. Also, running out of FC/CC reagents...should be here late tomorrow hope I can make it til then.

FC this morning stayed level at 29!!!! I think I'm there!! :p

I don't have enough reagent to test CC but it's always been around 0. I have some reagents on the way later today and will test, or go find some somewhere.

Now I'll clean the pool and let the kids swim!!
