Yes, CC should be 0.5 or less as per the exit criteria conditions. And With your progress you will reach there sooner than later.it doesn't say anything about it being at 0 for a week

Can you show me (draw on one of my pictures?) which one that is - just want to make sure I get it right. Also, this makes sense. Yesterday I actually starting stirring up and pushing water through the spillway as much as I could. I guess that was spot on and I didn't even know it. It just feels so stagnant in there.Basically it looks like you should be opening your return valve (after the filter) to continuously allow water to flow into the spa and spill-over back into the pool.
Thank you @Jimrahbe . I was multitasking when I read your message (and missed the part about "partially"). I actually opened it up all the way, but I don't think I saw a noticeable difference (if at tall). I was unsure and remember you said "it won't hurt", so I have left it that way (just to see if it makes any difference) and won't be able to get back for about 2 hours. Eep! Now i'm paranoid I did something I shouldn't have. Please talk me off the ledge...Your return valve in in the yellow circle.. I 'think' as you have one heck of a mess...
Opening this valve a little should let some water go into your spa.. Try it, you can't hurt anything. If it does not send water to your spa, just put it back as is..
Thanks,
Jim R.
I would continue with the SLAM Process. Watch the filter pressure as well and clean as needed. I don't understand those spa returns either. What's best course of action here?
Filter pressure has been good. Should I try to lower CYA?I would continue with the SLAM Process. Watch the filter pressure as well and clean as needed. I don't understand those spa returns either.Maybe @Jimrahbe will know.
I would not. 50 is not bad, so maintaining the FC of 20 is reasonable. Be sure to stick to the SLAM article though for a daily reminder of things to keep doing. You'll get it.Should I try to lower CYA?
I also read about this ^ but I can't be around monitoring the psi 24 hours as recommended. Recommended or no?If you have a sand filter, you can speed up the process by adding a little pool-grade DE to your filter. See Add DE to a sand filter for more information.
No problem. Maybe give it a good rinse once you're done though.ould it be safe/wise to let the robot run in these conditions? I don't see any algae (again, it's cloudy blue color), just a lot a fine particles that I'm waiting to be filtered out.
Stick with it. Water looks like it's about to make another transition soon to a more blue color.Still cloudy... Is there anything I can do proactively?
Perhaps. Looks like some other silt or debris as well. Good you were able to grab it.Is this dead algae?
Not necessarily. I don't see an pool info to compare it to since your signature and profile info don't list any pool info. Perhaps in your earlier posts it says something, but I don't want to lose my place here. It sure would help to see your signature info populated.3 gallons of chlorine a day the last couple days. Is this still a lot?
