Newbie in Central TX

Hi all. Just bought a house outside Temple, TX that has a 16K gal pool with attached spa. Never owned a pool before and we are now on the way. Looking forward to some advice from folks on the forum.

When you have the opportunity add your pool information to your signature. Helps the experts guide you if needed and saves you typing on every thread. Settings/signature.
Should see ours on a computer, but need to turn phone sideways to see it.

Also for proper guidance you will need your own test kit. Either the TF100 (link in my signature) or the Taylor K2006c. Guess strips and pool store tests are notoriously unreliable and will have you chasing your tail trying to adjust bouncing test results.
