Hi! I'm a DIYer with limited success, just enough to encourage me to keep trying! So happy to find this forum. I've had my pool 20 years and I do have a pool service, mostly so I can call someone in an emergency although I do maintain my pool pretty well on my own. I have a Betta skimmer and a Dolphin (and a Pool Blaster Max for when there's glitter or a huge amount of pollen or dirt blowing in) My pool is surrounded by flowering trees and one huge pine tree in particular on the city parkway that throws a ton of little pods and needles into my pool on the regular. Currently struggling with pool heater automation and wiring.
