If the frog leap has mineral pack, remove it now.
The frog leap chlorination uses chlorine that contains stabilizer (CYA). At high levels of CYA, it is difficult to maintain enough FC to sanitize the pool. Link-->FC/CYA Levels
The only way to reduce CYA is to replace water.
We recommend liquid chlorine and salt water chlorine generators.
