Excited to join the community. This will be my second summer with my pool, with no pool experience prior. Hoping to grab some feedback from you guys!
Just opened my pool 4 days ago. Had to close it late because I had a new cover being made. Pounds of leaves on the bottom combined with algae and dirt. I was able to get it mostly blue but it’s very cloudy( see attachments). The first attachment was how it looked when I opened it(absolutely disgusting)
My Taylor test kit is arriving today. I have a 28,000 gallon pool with a sand filter. Once I get my test and get my numbers I’ll let you guys know. I’ve added plenty of liquid chlorine so I’m pretty sure it’s killed most of algae. I’m curious to see my CYA readings to know if I’m on the right path.
