II have a 24' round four foot pool. I have had no problems the last three years this year a month ago I had phosphates in my pool over 5000. I cleared that up but since I have this greyish whitish sediment that settles to the bottom of the pool. I would vacuum to waste put fresh water in run the filter and it would be back the next day. I was told maybe it is mustard algae I have spent hundreds of dollars to try to clear my pool ugh!!! I just used a product today yellow out and shocked the pool the filter is running I am hoping for the fifth time that it will clear up... any suggestions. I have even put a 1 micron filter bag in the skimmer to catch the grey stuff. I also was told the grey stuff might be dead algae. It looks like a rust white powdery stuff but when t is vacuumed up it looks like grey clay. Any advice woud be appreciated....
