Welcome aboard! Sounds like a good size pool and you've come to the right place. We have volunteer experts and experience pool enthusiasts that are here to help others. We don't sell anything so the advice you get here is never conflicted. We have experts in everything from building to demolition and a LOT of expertise on running and maintaining them. We also use our own methods that are designed to keep your pool easy to care for and dirt cheap since we use generic chemicals instead of exactly identical pool store potions that are often way more expensive. We also never shock a pool because it just doesn't work. Please read through/watch the videos below and ask any questions you may have. If you decide to use our methods you'll need an approved test kit. We don't sell them but there are many places you can buy them. We've tested these for ease of use and accuracy to measure everything you need in most years.
Best wishes with your restoration and please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
Thank you for the welcoming comments. That is interesting that you should not shock a pool. I am going to watch your video and understand this better. I currently have been shocking my pool once a week while it is open. Also thank you for the tips on generic chems
