Use PoolMath to determine what % setting and pump run time is needed to create the chlorine you need. I know you said you are at 1 ppm FC now. I would suggest starting at 2 ppm FC and see how your FC rises or falls over several days.

Poolmath calculates it. If using the app you need to enable it in settings. If the webpage, it is shown towards the bottom of the table. You need pool water temperature inputted for it to be accurate.
