New to me pool looks good, slam recommended?

Cleaned the grids and reinstalled. Yes, I can backwash the filter just a bit messy where its located. Ill figure out a way to route the discharge pipe somewhere else. Thanks for the help.

Currently slamming the pool and it is looking a lot better. Losing a lot of chlorine, adding about a gallon a day if not more. Going to perform a OCLT to try and rule out sunlight. Filter looks good, running at 7psi. Light staining on the walls that I keep brushing but they are sticking around.

Current reading today before adding chlorine was FC 15.5, CC 0.5

If the pool doesn't meet all three end of slam criteria then I see no reason to do the OCLT as you know it'll lose overnight, just continue slam in the morning.
