Hello. I first wanted to say how grateful I am to have found this site. I had a 18x36 vinyl pool with DE filter installed in 2019. We have recently begun battling mustard algae in our pool. Our cya was up to 167 and after trying to find some guidance on treating the algae I discovered this site (we listened to our pool installer which assured us that our cya was in an ideal range according to there alex bioguard test 
). Since discovering this site we have drained and got our cya down to 45-50. We have also switched to nst tablets and liquid chlorine to shock. We are now in the process of using the slam method and are going on our 2nd day with algae still appearing. Fingers crossed that we can get this taken care of quickly so we can enjoy our pool!!!
