No tile would mean no plaster, I've waited this long and my priority is to have it done right as opposed to right now. Supposedly the tile guys will be here shortly today. I'm standing by the door like the ugly girl waiting on her prom date that may never show lolNow you have to ask yourself this question - IF the tile people do not show up to finish the job will you let them plaster the pool on Wednesday. I am hoping the tile people do show up and do a good job. I just want you to be ready in your head if something goes on like them not showing up.
Okay, I wanted to make sure you have thought it all out so you would be ready for whatever happened! Well done and a good way to think about it.............DONE RIGHT!!No tile would mean no plaster, I've waited this long and my priority is to have it done right as opposed to right now.
Fly me out and I will run and get the pizza/beer while all of your friends come to help!!! LOLJust need to figure out a reasonable way to pickup 13ft long galvanized roofing panels to deck it then I can install the panels.
Not surprisingly this is a solo effort, crickets from family and friends when it comes to manual labor!Fly me out and I will run and get the pizza/beer while all of your friends come to help!!! LOL
Left side is the faux rock, i never thought about the issue of calcium depositsThe cracks in the Shotcrete shell are normal for this width of crack.
As far the tile questions I’m not sure if I’m up to speed on the latest decision for the left side of the skimmer mouth, tile or plaster?
plaster does not do good above the water line but that left wall of the skimmer looks like it has been sprayed to match the rocks and if so, calcium at the water line will very difficult to remove in the future.
They are a supposed to be back this afternoon to acid wash and said wait to start filling until that is complete. I just ordered my test kit from tftestkits since I can't see the pb providing squatReady for you next job?? Get some socks or dish cloths and duct tape. Put the socks on the ends of your water hoses with the tape. This will help protect your new plaster from the metal ends of the hoses and also filters the water at the same time. Make sure the hoses are placed on the deepest part of your pool. NOT in the spa! Unless you can be there when the spa if filled so it does not overflow into the pool until it is done filling. Do NOT stop the flow of water until the water is halfway up the wateline tiles. Another reason to do the spa last.
Hoses wrapped! lolYeah but you want the hoses ready NOW just in case they decide to throw them in for you!
There was one PB whose "test kit" was a OPEN bottle of SAMPLE test stripsREALLY???
