new pump and swcg

I need to replace my pump, I think. I have been researching and I believe that ideally I want a variable speed 3/4 hp pump. What type of swcg is best for 7500-8500 gallon agp? I eventually intend to upgrade to the shoreline matrix agp.

Pentair and Hayward are the most common here. If you plan to self-install, you might prefer CircuPool because you retain a reasonable warranty on self-install.

Best to buy one rated for twice your pool volume. If the pool is 18 by 48, it's more than your volume estimate. I would double check the dimensions and the volume.
