New pool startup turning light green

New above ground vinyl pool (20' X 48") installed Monday and started filling that afternoon. Got it about 1/2 full from my well. Finished filling yesterday and started pump w/ sand filter operation mid-evening and have not shut off.
Added 4 - 40 lb. bags of salt yesterday evening and brushed bottom to make sure it mixed. Added 1 more bag of salt mid-morning today and brushed bottom again.
Got my SWG installed and operating today about 2 PM (eastern) and by 4 PM the pool looks green.

I installed the same pool setup 2 years ago at previous residence with no issues.

Intex pump & sand filter / max flow rate is 1600GPH
Intex SWG / 12 grams/hour

Test today with Taylor 2006 kit

Test Results 05-29-2019 @ 03:46 PM
------------------------------------------
Free Chlorine: 0.5
pH: 8.0
Total Alkalinity: 150
Calcium Hardness: 150
CYA: 0
Salt: 3800
Temperature: 85°F

I added 20 oz. of Muriatic Acid today at 5:30 PM to decrease the PH and decrease the Alkalinity but I also need to increase my CYA. Can I work on the CYA at the same time or do something other since its starting to turn green?

This was included with the SWG.

Any input is greatly appreciated,

You have iron.

Brushing your pool surfaces is ALWAYS a good idea. Any iron trying to stick to the surface is easily brushed away if you catch it now. The muddy appearance of your backwash suggests you are catching the iron particulate ion your filter.......that's good. Can you post a complete set of test results?

The pool looks much better this morning..... Not complete yet but a major difference. Backwash this morning was very muddy in color..

Test Results as of 8:08 AM today.
Free Chlorine: 5.2
pH: 8.0
Total Alkalinity: 150
Calcium Hardness: 150
CYA: 0
Salt: 3200
Temperature: 84°F

I have turned off the SWG, brushed the pool, added 7 oz. Muriatic Acid, and started adding stabilizer in a sock to work on the CYA.
Good news is today's test required a lot less acid to lower the ph so I hope to be close by tomorrow.

Thanks again for the assistance.
