Here is a picture of our concrete walls/deck painted/stained. Brown tones don't have to look like a sea of beige. With the proper techniques they can make concrete look like anything. I do like the square pattern you mention and I think it might look nice with your fairly formal and geometric theme.

Thanks for the suggestion. Your stamped concrete looks fantastic. Its amazing how they got all the color variation with the white faux grout lines. A stellar job indeed. I honestly couldnt tell the difference from a really high end flagstone job - yours looks better than most flagstone decks.

I think we are leaning towards a travertine design/color - below picture is a good representation

Looks fabulous! We are hoping for decking on Tuesday too! I think they are supposed to run the gas line tomorrow and then another inspection in Tuesday as well as the pour. Good luck!

Stonework all wrapped up for stamped concrete decking pour tomorrow.

Fx luminaire LED down lights were installed on the arbor pillars today

I have 8 total down lights on the arbor that collectively use less power than a 30 watt lightbulb

Decking is complete and pool clean up and final grade has begun. Will post some more detailed pics of decking soon...

Looks great, they did a fabulous job, love the lights as well. My clean up is scheduled for tomorrow, hoping they can get it done before the rain moves in.

Looks like there are several of us that may be ready for a swim by Christmas Day!! Lol

Rest assured that I will be heating the pool to about mid 80's. Will cost a fortune, but I need to get in one swim before next season.

It looks like you have two hot tubs: one with the pool and the other in the courtyard. Since I do not think you have two, what is the other thing?

Its a planter bed. It previously had some taller plants in it. The 3 windows behind the planter lead into the dining room. The landscaper recommend cutting all the tall plants out so the view to the pool is unobstructed.

I imagine once spring rolls around, we'll plant some shrubs and flowers that dont get more than 2 feet tall.

I agree with the others, it looks fantastic. Love the way the spa is framed by the arch into the courtyard and the two pillars.

Just have to say again that of all the pools I have viewed on this site this is one of the best if not the best aesthetically pleasing to the eye I just love the curves ( always been a curves man ) Hope you really enjoy the pool my eyes have now officially turned green.
