new pool - pool bug already - amphipod

What is this bug? I have seen about 10 this morning of varying sizes. This is the largest one I have seen, about 3/4" long. My google search shows this is an amphipod.

Could they be coming from a different pool as the pool service crew uses the same vacuum for many pools around this are

Looks like what those of us around here call "pill bugs". Actually more closely related to lobster than beetles. Generally harmless although they burrow behind my tile, which I assume contributes to why I replace so many each spring.

After dark, I saw a few of those bugs crawling out from under the ground of the surrouding yard and moving on the deck. Must be falling into the pool.
