Ants in my pool

I’m getting ants in my pool. They’re coming from the space between the top of the fiberglass pool and the cement coping. Is there any product I can use to get rid of them? Obviously, I don’t want to be spraying poisonous chemicals around my pool. I have a call into the bug man but I trying to get some insight into this before I hear what he might propose.

I use bifenthrin (there are various brands that contain it)
all around my pool & house.
You may also try the terro gel - its a bait that they carry back with them. May be easier to apply there - it has boric acid in it.

Any concerns with either of these getting in the pool water?
I add boric acid on purpose to my pool so no issue at all with the gel stuff.
I don’t spray bifenithrin directly in my pool but in general it’s safe for animals & humans once dried if it was applied in the proper ratio. I have been using for many many years inside & out of my home (it is what the pest control people use) & none of us have any extra digits yet or anything. YMMV 😊
