New pool, pH is steady with nothing being added. Problem?

I have a new pool, 16 days going now, and my pH is sitting at 7.5 with nothing being added. I'm used to pouring in acid by the gallons on my last pool but on this one I have only added about half a gallon total after the pH crept up to 7.6. Is this a good problem to have? How come I don't see the acid demand like I've seen on my old pool? I'm a bit dumbfounded with the little to no acid consumption.

Values:
TC - 5.0
pH - 7.5
TA - 80
CYA - 30 (still in the process of getting it up to 50)
CH - 220
Temp - 92

Jim,

It was 150 and I couldn't get the darn thing to come down ever. On this one I started at 70 and added 8 lbs of baking soda to bring it up a bit. I have bubblers and fountains so my TA drops every time I use it. Th eonly disappointmnet I have so far is that I have a 15 gallon stenner setup sitting empty with no acid in it as I have no need for it yet....
