TFP has been an amazing resource so far, truly appreciate all the shared knowledge!

This is my husband and my first home with a pool. We had a great family owned company caring for the pool that retired and sold the business. Wish I had made the time to learn from them but was too busy working. Now we have a guy who is fine with balancing chemicals but not proactive enough, so we end up with fires to put out.
Since I'm now retired and have learned so much from TFP and planning to take over the maintenance myself.

Hi Marty,
Appreciate the welcome!
Have already made it through Pool Care Basics, some How to (calcium scaling, CSI), some Pool Equipment, and followed links down fascinating rabbit holes. Have downloaded Pool Math and was about to order more Taylor reagents, but figuring out what I'm missing first. I have the OTO 6-way kit, K-5820.
Do I need to subscribe to a paid version of Pool Math to track my numbers in the app?
Best,
Patty

Just order a TF100 Salt or better yet the TFPRO Salt -- what you have does not really have anything for testing.

You do need to subscribe to Poolmath to keep past data stored.
