Thank you! I added the boric acid. We'll test it tomorrow. Earlier this week we also had our pool solar panels installed; they raise the temperature about 10-12 degrees a day, but we lose them at night when air temperature drops into the high 40s. Considering solar sun rings, but they sure are expensive for what they are, and don't get great reviews.

Save your money. The reviews are correct....not worth your time, money, effort.
Most people find a solar blanket does help hold the heat in though.
