Hi -- I recently order the TF-Pro test kit (TF-Pro) to help with testing my water levels. I have been able to successfully test chlorine, alkalinity, calcium, and CYA levels. However, the pH test seems very difficult to read and feels just like the run of the mill test strips that I can buy at any pool store. It relies on my eyes matching very similar shades of red, which I am not very good at nor seems all that precise.
Are there any recommendations for how to best go about testing for pH, or is that my only option?
Same question goes for the daily chlorine test (the yellow half of the daily tester that also tests for pH). The shades of yellow look exactly the same to me -- but maybe that doesn't matter? Is the point of that test to just detect that, yes in fact there is chlorine in the pool, and then on a weekly basis I do the more specific FC and CC tests?
Thanks so much!
