Given that you’ll be draining your pool in 3 weeks, I would just try to maintain by adding chlorine until then. Use Pool Math to figure out how much.

As far as when you are testing your new fill, don’t forget to check ph too.

With the high CYA, will the normal ranges of the FC, PH, TA, etc need to be adjusted too - to accommodate for the high CYA?

You will not be able to test for pH, so TA is not needed. FC should be at least 7.5% of CYA. So well north of 10 ppm.

No, just do the correct amount of chlorine for your CYA. Really wouldn’t spend much time or money on the rest.

Yay! Replaster on June 19 - not far to go and then a fresh start to have things right!! I’m looking forward to being hands on with this!
