New pool install - which test kit?

Our pool is being installed next week. It is a 30' AGP. I know we have a cartridge filter, but that is all the info I know until it is actually installed. I want to be prepared when it gets here so which test kit should I get? The Taylor K-1004 or the Taylor K2006? There are SO many out there and I have looked at them until my brain hurts. :)

Order a TF100 test kit
The only other real option for a test kit is a Taylor K-2006-C. Be careful comparing prices because the K-2006 comes in sizes, designated by a letter. The basic K-2006 has .75oz bottles. You need to get the K-2006-C to get the larger bottles that you want. Even then it is a little short on the reagent & powder for the FAS/DPD test.

I also have the SpeedStir. It makes testing much easier.

Test kits compared
TF100 is actually the best if you consider bang for the buck. I sure wish I'd read this before I bought my K-2006c kit. I will need to order a refill for some of my reagents soon but if I would have purchased the TF100 kit, I'd probably have enough for this season. Live and learn, I guess.

I 2nd the SpeedStir recommendation also. It makes testing faster and easier and is pretty cheap.

TF100 yes

XL size bottle of CYA test reagent - I highly recommend adding this one when opening a new pool and getting used to testing CYA

Speed Stir - Not necessary, but it does make things a LOT easier.
