New pool in south Florida !

My hubby is a get rid on everything too. Since our kids are all grown up we don't have all of there stuff here anymore. 4 bedroom house with 2 car garage. I hope we can make it all fit lol.We do have some of the grandkids stuff here. bmoreswim thanks for the complement. Baby and mama are doing great. They came home today!

Ummgood, that sounds like soooo much fun! I know how much stuff you need with kids, mine are late teens and soon both will be in college. Well, my husband is a get rid of EVERYthing kind of guy so everything in our garage is mine, random stuff really... Our shed felt like an eye sore and that's why we got rid of it, it just wasn't going to look good next to our modem pool, but I hear you, we are going to get a VERY small version by the pool equipment once we fence it in from view.

Yeah I gotta do something. I am a clutz and we have shelves on both sides of the 3rd bay and with all the kids stuff I can barely walk through it. Our garage has 3 separate doors so with the cars in it can be quite a squeeze to get by. I kinda wish I had one big double door and then a single instead of 3 singles. Oh well... 1st world problems.

What is a plasma car?

Just make sure you have a place to keep the muratic acid safe and away from the kids and chlorine!

I think I am going to get one of those plastic shelf things I think someone on here posted. Is there some temperature concerns? Can I keep them in that outside in Texas? I'll put a lock on it.

I won't need much chlorine around because of the SWG so I'll keep whatever I do have on hand in the garage or something.

haha! I am hoping we can downsize when the kids are gone. Right now our house is pretty large (3600 sqft) and I hope to not have to keep this thing up. We'll have to find something smaller like a condo downtown when they are gone.

Love your pool! It's very similar to our plans. The dolphins are SO FUN!!
Congrstulations on the new grandbaby! Grandkids are THE BEST!! I have 5- 4 boys, 1 girl. They are God's reward for not killing your kids!!

Then you can build another pool!

Common now!!! I will be much older and I think the stress of building another pool would cause a heart attack! I think this like building a house is a once in a lifetime thing. I already built the house so now the pool. After that I am only buying stuff that is already done. (I also learned that flooring should be replaced before you move into a house.)

Yes floor definitely needs to be replaced before you move in it specially any kind of tile. We had our tile chipped out and marble flooring put in what a mess I'm still finding dust LOL.

We had the same thing in our old house. Our new to us house we had all that done before we moved in. Still lots of dust but at least it was on the cabinets etc... only and not on our personal stuff.

I'll bet you are! Shiny new equipment as well.

Can you add your pool data to your signature? My memory isn't the best. It's under My Profile\About Me.

For those who get sod, like I presume you will, the final transformation/ah-ha moment is awesome. We have to seed here due to cost so the greenery shows up more slowly.

Quatzscapes Barbados blue is the color. And they finished it today. I will post pics in the morning. Most of the patio furiture is in the garage. They have to pressure clean the deck so hubby won't let me put out the furniture just yet. He doesn't want to mov it twice lol.
