Thank you. Yes, good eye, it's a split rail 3 rail fence with mesh. I had to remove my original split rail because it wasn't high enough, no mesh etc. The mesh is required to pass County code/inspection. The openings can't be any bigger than something like 2" so the mesh is the answer while maintaining a split rail fence look. All of the gates have to meet code e.g. swing out, have the proper latches (except the "service gate") self close etc. To be honest we don't even notice the mesh any more.Your pool looks amazing and the lighting is top notch. Well done!. I'm interested in the fencing. It looks like split cedar with some sort of mesh applied? Did you get any grief from the inspector? I'm interested to know more about it since it would fit our setting much better than the fencing options we've been considering for our build.
No issues with the inspector. He barely paid any attention to the fence. It meets code. Talk to your local fence contractor, they know what they can get away with and what they can't when installing a fence for a pool.I think it looks great. What kind of mesh did you use? Did you get any grief from the inspectors over it? I feel like our local inspectors wouldn't like it too much and argue that it's non-standard.
Thank you. When it comes out just as envisioned it is satisfying.Exquisite design and taste here. Exactly what we're looking for our next pool. Any issues/regrets with no decking around some sides of it (grass, kids not having enough room to run, etc)?
Time to manually water the lawn. That's why we have a sprinkler system, but then we never rely on any rain, of course. But we will manually water at times during the hottest weather like we have right now. No days below 100 in June, 7 days straight over 110 right now through Tuesday.
Now if it would only rain, its been so dry, our grass is getting crunchy
