Hi everyone, I have a question about our pool construction and want some input from pool owners.

We are starting the dig next week. We have 5 feet from the fence line running along the back side and right side of the pool.

My question is - do we go with 2 feet of beach stone along the fence line and 3 feet of concrete along the back of the pool or 1 foot of beach stone and 4 feet of concrete along the back and left side of pool.

Just wondering what do you think will look better. The concrete along back and right of the pool wont be used for any deck space so is it better to have more separation from the fence line 2 feet of rock (3 feet perimeter concrete) or 1 foot of rock (4 feet perimeter concrete).

Please advise, let us know your thoughts. Pic is enclosed.

3 foot of concrete is cheaper than 4 foot and if you are not going to use it other than walking around to clean or cover the pool 3 feet will be fine

Im digging my pool now. Did you use ICF styrofoam walls?
