New pool, concrete apron poured, now LOTS of concrete dust all over the pool floor - how to clean?

Like the title says, I have a new in-ground pool, and the stampcrete patio was poured yesterday. I'm not thrilled by his job as I feel he wasn't experienced with pool aprons, and things weren't neat. My main concern, is that nearly the entire floor of the pool is now covered in concrete dust. There are also some larger size stones in there as well, possibly from the concrete or some of the backfill stone. I'm not sure the best way to clean all that up. I could get the pool vacuum hooked up to the skimmer and start sucking it up that way, but I'm concerned that'll be pretty bad for the cartridge filter. But I'm not sure there's any other choice. Suggestions?

If you cannot create a method to vac to waste, then you will need to run it through the filters. Most likely will need to clean them often. Be prepared to replace them when you are done, though they may end up being OK.

Ha, duh, not what I was hoping for!! 🤪 They're replacing their deck and the tile guy wants them to empty their pool for a week. I didn't like the sound of that so I suggested dealing with the mess afterwards. Just looking to share your experiences. Maybe you can add something over there, as I'm just grasping at straws and not being particularly helpful...

Well, i've been spending the last 2 days vacuuming out the pool, or in the pool scooping up stones/pebbles with a dust pan. It's been a lot of work, and it's not done yet, but in the end it will get clean. I'll have to see how bad my cartridges are when the pool company comes on wednesday to do a walkthrough of everything. Still probably better to leave the water in the pool. Best case they don't drop much in there and there isn't much cleanup to do.
