Congrats Sun. It's looking really really nice. I think the tech guys are used to being photo tagged. Their technique for PS is unique to say the least. Spiked boots and all. We did the same thing. Pictures every few minutes. It's a big day for any pool owner. Can't wait to see that blue water on Tuesday. The acid wash makes a huge difference.

I've tried ordering that wall whale a couple of times on Amazon. I think their discontinued...

I just ordered one two weeks ago. It does make brushing much easier.

There are two Wall Whale brushes - Classic and XL. Based on reviews it appears the XL is a bit harder to use due to the larger size.

I've tried ordering the classic on Amazon a few times and it ends up getting cancelled due to product being unavailable. Doesn't appear you can buy them direct either. Curious where people are purchasing them.

I bought mine from poolzoom.com. I got the XL and paid 39.44 (with SH&tax). Never know though, my order may get cxl later. Like my chairs did.

Hi Sunbaby! I haven't been able to access the TroubleFreePool website for nearly 3 days, and I was getting severe withdrawal symptoms. But I've just caught up with your build thread and wanted to say how lovely it's looking now. Also, well done for remembering to bake cookies - you are a girl after my own heart I also can't wait to see what your pool looks like once it's been acid washed on Monday and starts filling <<squeal>>

So sorry guys! I took the day and ran errands - bought new umbrellas and some chairs - then went to eat and to the movies with the hubs. It has been raining here a lot - so not a lot of good pics. They come tomorrow to acid wash and I will be at a Dr. Appt! GAH!! Here are a few pics - I don't have any really good ones! But trust me, once they finish acid washing - I will be all over it!!!!!!!

OK - gotta go take the dogs out to potty - now they can't go outside by themselves because we barricaded the entry into the pool so they would stay out. Worst thing to do for a Min Pin is tell them they aren't supposed to do something. Now they are climbing over the waterfalls trying to get in - just to see what we are hiding. Brats..

It is about to start raining again. I hope they can acid wash in the rain . . . I sure won't mind the help from the rain when it comes time to fill the pool up!

What is the liquid blue stuff in the box?

Other giant box of blue goop is what they pump out of the pool during the application. They put a submersible pump in the main drain, then when they are applying one guy does nothing but push all the water & junk towards the drain. Near the end, they use something that looks like a leaf blower to push the water to the drain. They are supposed to come back & pick it up tomorrow. Tomorrow is going to be so exciting!!!
