Passed my inspection and started laying decking boards today. Bought 60 16' premium boards and 50 10' premium. That won't put a dent in it but at least it will get me started.

Looking good! Are you planning to put anything up to keep people and animals out from under the tall deck near the house?

Oh my hubby said to NOT total up the receipts for the boards. You will not want to know how much this costs LOL.
I would go get 10 at a time while he was working on the last set I picked up.

Yeah I bought 110 one Friday and 92 the next Friday and they are almost gone.
Bought 45 16' deck boards and 70 10' deck boards today. I got 25 put down before it started raining. Guess I'll get back at it when the sun comes up. Pic tomorrow.

It really hasn't been bad.
I got 45 boards down today. That's pretty good for working by myself.
I've spend some $ to make things easier on myself.
A quik drive screw gun is a back saver. It works awesome and I've put in 3000 screws with it and am still on the first bit.
I bought a bowrench yesterday. It uses the joist to help straighten crooked boards. Really helps when working alone.
