New Pool Austin Tx

So pool builder still can't figure out why we have so much air in our suction side of main pump... leak detection experts coming out soon. I had the pump only pulling from the skimmers today and the pump almost lost prime.

Found out some pretty miserable things about the start up company they used today as well. In a really bad mood about this whole process now.

That stinks! So sorry! What did you find out?

Leak detection company was out today. Looks like we found the leak in a 3 way valve that I told them needed to be replaced/checked because it was one of 3 above ground points that could be causing the leak. We greased up an o-ring and the problem went away until the valve was operated. New valve body/internals on the way to hopefully fix this issue for good.

Well.. faulty valve replaced and it looks like all of our suction side leak issues are gone. We have some small decking touch up and the pool construction project will be complete! Now I just need to figure out my automation scheduling, I can't figure out how to get the spillway function to work via scheduling. It works just fine when I trigger it via screenlogic, however when its scheduled to start it doesn't start the pump or change the valve positon.

I'm so glad you found the leaky valve and that it's getting replaced! What a pain! I wonder why your screen logic won't operate your spillway? Our screen logic operated our water sheer perfectly from the laptop, but I never could get it to work from iPhone. Recently the software stopped working altogether. We called tech and apparently, we had the older version of the software program and a component they refer to as the "brick" went out. Long story short, they are sending a new "brick" and have updated the software. I really like the screen logic. I hope you get the bugs out because it makes keeping the pool running so simple and keeps costs down by having the ease to adjust the rpms used on the variable speed pump.

It works just fine from the software. I can get it to operate from my laptop or Iphone. The issue is when I put it into the automation schedule it doesn't do anything. I want to use the spillway feature to turnover the water in the spa instead of keeping the manual spa return always on causing a sloppy trickly of water the spillway.
