Hello community! Just had our new plaster installed yesterday and acid wash today (Wet Edge is the product). Does this seem right to you all - I don't understand when they did the acid wash that they didn't do around the edges of the steps, this looks very sloppy to me. Will I have to spend dozens of hours brushing this off myself? My pool company says that the install is within the standards of the national pool council, but I don't know about that.... They were a lousy company to work with and this sounds like an excuse / cop-out to me. Interested in your thoughts!

Yeah. It looks like they left some excess plaster crème around those edges. The problem is, if they’re a lousy company to deal with, do you really want them back to “fix it”?? My guess is they’ll just screw it up more.

You could fill the pool and see how it looks after a little while with some extra brushing in those corners. If it doesn’t get better, then there’s some do it yourself acid etching tools out there that might help even out the aggregate.

Sounds like your experience hasn’t been all that great so you might want to exit the customer relationship as soon as you can. Up to you.
