I have a spa valve actuator that stopped working. I ordered a new one. The actuator came with a new wire that connects to the automation box. I traced the existing wire and it looked fine and the connection at the box looked good. Instead of replacing the wire I connected the new actuator into the existing wire. To my frustration, the new actuator isn’t working. The manual switch on the actuator is in the same position as the old one. Is there anything else I need to do before I connect the new wire to the actuator? It is in a tight location and somewhat of a pain to run the new wire to the box and I was trying to avoid this.

I disconnected the wire that came with the new actuator and plugged the old wire into the same location. The wire has a 3 point connect similar to the attached picture and plugs into a board inside the actuatorWhere did you connect the old wire to the new actuator?
