My ic20 stopped making chlorine and had the clean cell flashing, so I put in a brand new ic40. As soon as it booted up, the salt level light flashed green indicating high salt level. I took my water to the pool store for testing, and they told me my salt level is 3600 which should be very good. I have turned off and on the cell a few times, but always get the same high salt level light. The kid at the pool store said that it could indicate a bad thermistor or bad power supply. I doubt the power supply is bad because the old cell didnt give me a bad salt reading. He also told me I was still high in metals in my pool at a reading of 3. Is there anything I could try before contacting pentair on Monday?
