New Pentair 400HD SFS only reaching 250*.

I have a brand new Pentair 400HD. The heater turns on and runs prefect. The water doesn’t warm much and the SFS only reaches 250*. I ran it for 20 minutes today and the SFS stalls there. What should I look for?

You will only get an output temperature rise of 8 to 16 degrees depending on your flow rate. For more details read - Heater Maintenance - Further Reading

Post pics of your heater installation.

Low gas flow will cause reduced heater output.

What is the capacity of your gas meter?
