Good evening ladies and gents,

We are on our way to start our process with building our pool. Initially we were going to go all out with the slide and waterfall etc but realized were not staying in the house forever so we will wait till our next house adventure. So, for now here is what we have! I have to say thanks to KimKats, Big Will, Myvegas pool. IMAZ1218 and Qingguy for the contractors list. Most of them have been easy to get a hold of and quick on the Quotes.
Our dig is fairly easy for the contractors since we have plenty of access being on a big lot and also they dont have to have to haul the dirt away because Im raising the other side of the yard with it so that works out fantastic. FREE DIRT!

Yippyskippy - it all pentair equipment but we out on the border about using the pentair heater. I have a buddy that is in the pool building business and he is saying the break constantly. He is suggesting using a Raypak heater , supposingly it is a much better product. What do you think?

kimkats- we plan on starting the dig in the next weeks and the build only taking a couple months. Luckily, the other half is in the engineering field and familiar with how the permit process/inspections are so that makes it easier. Here is a picture of I messing around with some spray paint in the backyard trying to get the idea of the layout

Raypak is highly recommended here by several installers. Their simplicity of design has been very positive regarding longevity and lack of required repairs. Your buddy is in line with the consensus opinion on this one.

Count me in for the build and if you need anything I’m a call , text, email, or pm away.
Every expert recommends the raypak so I say go with it. I used pentair for everything but I will say I haven’t had any issues and I don’t use my heater nearly as much as I thought in Vegas . Keep in mind my pool will only be a year old lol
I believe as long as you buy 3 pentair products you still get warranty
