I just joined this forum and look forward to the current pool maintenance info. We've had several pools over our lives, but it has been 10 years since our last experience. We are contemplating building a new pool and there is so much new stuff out there! We've had a salt pool and chlorine pools. I want to learn about UV sanitation, robotic cleaners and all the newer technology to make pool ownership easier. Our current proposed builder recommends a Shotcrete chlorine pool with pebblecrete finish and Jandy equipment so I'm doing research in that direction. We're in Central Texas with long hot summers and usually mild winters. Thanks in advance for all the help offered!
