New Member who is just starting to learn how to maintain my own pool

Why is my 15k gallon inground pool using up some much chlorine? It seems like every 3 to 4 days the pools starts to get a light yellow tint on the walls. I brush, vac and add 1.5 gls of 10% liquid bleach and it clears up. it reappears again in 3 to 4 days, is that normal? A TF-100 kit is arriving tomorrow to better understand the chemistry.

Good on you to get a proper test kit. Chlorine is consumed every day, it needs to be replenished regularly. Once you have your test kit post the results, until then add a half gallon of chlorine every day with the pump running.
