We had our pool replastered yesterday after having it closed for two years! I really don’t know much about the pool and it’s been so long since we’ve used it, but really am trying to gain a sense of our equipment and answers to some questions I’ve had.
Pool was replastered yesterday 07 MAY. It had a couple of layers of plaster and the company removed most of it before applying a bonding layer and then the plaster. Also had new tiles done at the same time.

Some questions/comments I had, seeking advice
1. My blower shuts off after 5 minutes of operation. It has always been like this. When I take the blower off the pvc pipe it runs forever and does not shut off. Pool company has snaked and blown the lines and says they are clear. It is a 2hp blower and yes the pvc pipe it is attached to is bent a bit. I have read comments about adding small holes or relief valves in the pipe to take away some pressure?
2. My heater is old. The heater screen no longer works but last time I used it (2years ago) it would heat our spa very quickly. I think I will ride this out a bit before replacing but not sure if I can just replace the screen for it? If so, any idea on which part and how to?
3. have a single speed pump that sucks electricity and only has enough power to filter either the pool or spa efficiently at a time. I remember I would have it set to run for about 10 hours on pool settings during day and 4 hours on spa early morning, am I doing something wrong by doing this?
4. I have air in the pool return and a little in spa return. Also have air bubbles inside the pump that I can see. I have read about replacing the seal in the pump, is there anything else I can look into?
5. I have attached photos of my setup. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for all your time.
