hey there! I just joined TFP as I finally had my dream pool installed in our woodsy backyard (so lots of shade) in Nashville last November, after many delays.
Our excavator for the project had to bail right after the shell was put into the ground, and it wasn't backfilled properly. We paused, and the pool manufacturing company told me I could shock the pool, cover it, and fix it in the spring.
Here we are in the spring and my equipment is finally getting hooked up properly, and we should be swimming in a couple of months! The water is still pretty clear (I have been running the filter constantly through the winter on the aux power and putting chlorine tablets in the skimmer every month or so), but I have never tested the water and want to remove the cover and start working on the chemical balance in the next month or two. Not sure really where to begin!
